Honest qualifier
An inspection is for when you need answers and documentation, or when it is the first step before a remediation. If you can already see the mould and just want it treated, you do not need to pay for an inspection. A treatment includes a written report at no extra cost.

Full written report within 48 hours
An independent written report you can act on or hand to a third party
$300, credited toward your remediation if you proceed
Book your inspection
Book by phone or online. The inspection is $300, and we will set a time that suits you.
On-site investigation
We inspect the area of concern and assess humidity, dew point, moisture and building factors with thermal imaging, moisture metres and hygrometers, and we look at airflow and ventilation.
Find the cause
We identify the moisture source, building defects and ventilation issues feeding the mould, not just the visible growth. Finding the cause is the whole point of the inspection.
Your written report within 48 hours
You get a clear written report: our findings, the likely cause and contributing factors, and our recommendations to treat or remediate
A clear next step
If remediation is the right fix, your $300 is credited toward the job. If a treatment will sort it, we will tell you, and a treatment includes a report at no extra cost.
An inspection is not for every job. These are the situations where it earns its place.
Mould that keeps coming back and you cannot get on top of it.
You suspect the problem is bigger than a surface clean.
You are buying a property and want to know what you are walking into before you commit.
You need an independent report for an insurance claim.
You are a tenant or a landlord and need evidence in a dispute.
You know you need to remediate mould from a leak or flood (quote included in investigation price)
You need to find the cause, not just treat the surface.
You need documentation for a sale, an insurer or a dispute.
You think the problem is bigger than a treatment.
You are heading for a remediation. The $300 is credited toward the job.
You can see the mould and just want it treated. A treatment is the better use of your money, and it includes a written report at no extra cost.
You need spore types and concentrations, or independent third-party proof. This is common for pre-purchase, insurance and disputes.
You think there is mould inside a wall
You know there was a leak that got fixed but not dried correctly leading to a musty smell in the area
Most mould keeps coming back because the cause was never found
That is what an inspection is about. Not just the mould you can see, but the moisture and the building issues feeding it.
What we do on site
We inspect the problem area and assess the conditions driving the mould. Using hygrometers, thermal cameras and moisture metres, we measure humidity and dew point, look for underlying moisture issues and potential building defects, and assess contributing factors like passive airflow and ventilation.
What you get
We put it all together in a written report that documents our findings, lists the possible causation and contributing factors, and gives our recommendations on how we would treat or remediate to solve the problem. The report is yours. You can act on it, sit on it, or hand it to your insurer, agent or landlord.
Want lab evidence as well?
Lab air or surface sampling can be added to an inspection where you need spore types and concentrations or independent third-party proof. It is an optional add-on.
Mould in a rental affects your health and your bond, and it is not always clear whose job it is to deal with it. We treat the mould, improve your air, and provide documentation that clearly records what we found and treated and address underlying moisture issues which helps when you raise it with your agent or landlord.
You keep a clean home, and the mould keeps coming back anyway. We treat it properly, tell you exactly what is driving it in your home, and give you the option to keep it under control with a scheduled plan so you are not fighting it every wet season.
Mould is one of the most common maintenance complaints you handle and one of the most disputed. We respond fast, treat between tenancies so a property is ready to lease, document every job, and offer recurring plans across your rent roll at a discounted rate. One reliable contractor for the whole portfolio.
Common property mould gets political quickly. We provide clear documentation for committee approval and records, treat common areas and affected units, and can put the building on a recurring plan so it is managed rather than argued about.
A musty smell or a mouldy bathroom is a guaranteed bad review and a refund request. We treat the mould fast, and can schedule regular treatments around your booking calendar so your property always presents clean.
Mould is never a good look for a business, nor is it good for your staff to be experiencing every day. We act fast with after hours options available so your business is not disrupted at all. You loose no foot traffic or staff hours getting your problem resolved.
A mould inspection and report is $300. If you go ahead with a remediation, the $300 is credited toward the job. It is not credited toward a treatment, but a treatment on its own already includes a written report at no extra cost.
No. If you can see the mould and just want it treated, a treatment includes a written report at no extra cost. An inspection is for when you need to find the cause, need documentation, or are heading for a remediation.
Yes. The lab we use is NATA accredited. Your samples are analysed by an independent, accredited laboratory, not graded by us. That independence is the whole point, it is what makes the report something you can use in a dispute or an insurance claim rather than just our word for it.
Your full written report is with you within 48 hours of the inspection.
Our findings, the likely cause and contributing factors (moisture, building defects and ventilation), and our recommendations on how we would treat or remediate to solve it.
Yes. It is an independent written report you can provide to your insurer, your agent or your landlord.
Yes. We inspect the areas of concern before you commit, so you know what you are buying rather than finding out after settlement.
This does come with additional costs for air sampling.
Yes, as an optional add-on, unless it is a pre-purchase where air sampling is mandatory. Lab air or surface sampling can be added to your inspection where you need spore types and concentrations or independent proof.
No. We focus on the area of concern and the moisture, building and ventilation factors driving the mould. It is a mould investigation, not a full building or pest inspection.

We started in mould because we lived the problem ourselves, mouldy rentals, recurring health issues, and contractors who bleached the stain off and missed the cause. That is why we do it differently. We treat mould properly, we are honest about whether you need a quick treatment or a full remediation, and we would rather put you on a plan that keeps it gone than sell you the same job twice.
