Fogging

Fogging is an extra step which aids in killing off airborne spores and helps to sanitise the property. This helps to prevent mould from coming back.

The fogging agent is non-hazardous, biodegradable and not harmful to any contents.

Re-silicone wet areas

Our technicians have years of construction industry experience. We use industry leading products and expert technique.

Re-doing the silicone in wet areas is a crucial preventative service to stop water ingress into cavities, walls, behind tiles and vanities.

Once this happens, mould grows aggressively in these spaces, eventually starting to grow through the walls, floor or celling.

Once mould is inside the structure, porous building materials must be removed in order to treat the mould at the root. Simply wiping the mould off the surface is not enough.

Once mould is inside a wall it will contaminate both sides of the wall, leaving the adjacent room needing remediation.

How the process works

Inspection & report

We inspect the property to find the root cause of the mould.

Once causation is identified we put together a recommended treatment plan and suggest specialist trades from our licensed affiliated trade list to fix the cause if it is a leak or defect ect.

Containment

We make the area safe using S520 tape and air scrubbers then we contain the contaminated area to prevent spores spreading and cross contamination. Using Thick plastic walls and negative air pressure ensures no spreading can occur to non-contaminated areas.

Fix root cause (leaking plumbing or roof ect.)

Using one of our highly professional, licensed and insured affiliate trades to fix the root cause of the mould. Once this is complete, Mould removal can begin.

Remove visible mould and porous mould contaminated materials

We physically remove the mould. Sanitise and HEPA vac non-porous materials. Deconstruct and safely dispose of porous contaminated materials.

This must happen for a long term fix and mould has roots (Hyphae) that dig into these materials. the mould will continue to re-grow from these roots if allowed to remain.

Purify air and remove spores

Once the Mould is physically removed, we remove the spores. Purifying and scrubbing the air over a period on time suited to the job leaving the air free of spores to prevent mould from coming back.

Sanitise property

We sanitise the whole property. Inside and out of the containment zone, ensuring your property is fresh and sanitised. This helps to provide excellent, long term solutions. At this point, if required, we take air samples to send to the lab for verification of the successful mould removal.
